Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage day-to-day transportation operations, coordinate with drivers and clients, monitor vehicle movements, and ensure timely delivery of shipments. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for logistics and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily transportation operations.
- Assign trips to drivers and monitor vehicle movements.
- Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, warehouse teams, and transport partners.
- Prepare trip sheets, invoices, e-way bills, and delivery documentation.
- Ensure timely loading, unloading, and dispatch of vehicles.
- Monitor fleet utilization and optimize routes for cost efficiency.
- Resolve operational issues and transportation delays promptly.
- Maintain records of trips, fuel consumption, toll expenses, and vehicle performance.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service schedules.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of transport documentation such as e-way bills and invoices is preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and transport management software is an advantage.
